Equestrian Longines Global Champions Horse Show Tour in London 2014

London is all set to play host to the Longines Global Champions Tour. From 14-16 August, the Global Champions Tour will be held in London. In the second year the event will be held at the brand new venue of Horse Guards Parade where the horse jumping series will see the prowess of top riders competing with the spectacular venues.

This will be the 11th leg of the 2014 Championship race and comes with prestigious brands backing it. The flagship event at the Horse Guards Parade Ground will have passionate spectators housed in the main grandstands, spending their moments in cheer and excitement. They will be having the privilege to join VIPs in the luxurious hospitality suites. The sporting action will also uncork most famous landmarks such as No10 Downing Street and the Big Ben.

The event will be broadcast live by BBC and others. The major competition classes will include the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London to be presented by Qatar. The Longines group will present a special Swiss-manufactured watch to the winner.

Horse Guards Parade Ground is the official ceremonial entrance to St. James’s and Buckingham Palace and it is also the headquarters of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment providing troops for The Queen’s Life Guard.
