Statue of Achilles-

The statue of Achilles was built by Sir Richard Westmacott in the year 1822. The statue is situated in between the Broad Walk and the Lover’s Walk; it was made in the honor of the Duke Wellington’s victories in the Peninsular War. The statue is made up of bronze with armour beside it having a sword and a shield.

Boy and Dolphin Fountain-

This beautiful marble designed masterpiece is located in the Rose Garden. It was made in the year 1862, features a sculpture of a cherub and dolphin in marble. This incredible centre piece was designed by Alexander Munro. Earlier this fountain was located in the Victoria sunken garden, after that it was returned to Hyde Park in the year 1995.

The Cavalry Memorial is the sculpture designed by Adrian Jones is dedicated to the brave cavalry members who lost their lives in the First World War. The statue depicts St. George standing over the defeated horse. This impressive statue is located in the north side of the Serpentine River.

As the name suggests, this historic monument was made in the honor of victims of terrible London Bombings that took place on 7th July, 2005. There are total 52 steel pillars, each pillar is 3.5 metres high having casting which stand together in the groups which signify the different sites of attack.

The memorial was created in the memory of innocent Jewish people who lost their lives in the Holocaust during World War II in Nazi Germany. It was Britain’s first memorial made to pay tribute the  victims. It has two large boulders in the centre of racked gravel surrounded by birch trees. It is located on the eastern side of The Dell.
