Museums at Night in London to be a Great Cultural Experience

The much awaited Museums at Night festival will grace London from 15 May to 17 May 2014. The festival can be described as a bunch of inspiring after hours cultural events around famous museums, galleries and heritage sites. London Transport Museum: On 16 May, London Transport Museum’s celebrates the opening of new exhibition Goodbye Piccadilly, portraying the London city of the First World War. There will be plenty of music, talks and tours, quiz and a bar.

Dr Johnson’s House: You can watch Dr Johnson’s House at Gough Square on a candlelight tour on 16 May. It will reveal to you aspects of Dr Johnson’s domestic life and his scholastic pursuits.

Bank of England Museum: The Bank of England Museum will be open late on Friday, 16 May to offer visitors a chance to handle a real gold bar, spotting fake banknotes and to watch the museum’s important exhibits.
